Sabrina Zimmerman is a lyric soprano that has been studying music since she was 19. She has a degree in Music Performance from NCCC and had studied for years under the tutelage of first Margaret Bowen and then Lois Stipp. She also studied briefly with local soprano, Lisa Surace and esteemed soprano Sylvia Dimiziani at U.B. She has performed in numerous recitals and concerts and has worked with the Buffalo Choral Arts Society, where she sang the soprano solos from Mozart’s “Regina Coeli” in Salzburg, Vienna, and Prague, the Music School of Niagara, conducted various church choirs and even performed in the NCCC production’s of “Man of La Mancha” as part of the chorus and “Into the Woods” as Cinderella.
Sabrina has taught private voice lessons at her home in Niagara Falls, and at the Music School of Niagara as well as D’Amico’s Music Studio, where she also studied piano with Ivy D’Amico.
After taking a 9-year break from performing, she resumed her vocal studies in July 2018 with Miss Arielle-Khrystiana at her studio in Lockport, NY. As of April 2019, She began teaching voice and beginning piano at the Arielle-Khrystiana Music Studio, where she is also the creative director. In addition to music, she has a background in visual arts, which helps her role as creative director and she also runs the blog, Sabrina Zimmerman, Soprano, where she shares her favorite natural products for performing and vocal health as well as music posts.
