December Goodbeing Box Review!
Hello, lovelies! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I can’t believe we are only days away from 2019!! Time really does fly!
Well, as you can see, it’s time for another Goodbeing Box reveal, and as usual, it’s another home run! 😀 I did somehow miss the selection window, so the peeps at Goodbeing curated an amazing box for me based off my profile! You can learn more about how that works here and you can read my past reviews of Goodbeing here!
Let’s jump right in!
MyChelle Dermaceuticals Clear Skin Pore Refiner – (full size, $28 value) – I was so excited to see a product from MyChelle in this month’s box! They were one of the very first clean brands I used when I switched over and the one I used almost exclusively in my early 40’s! They’ve undergone some formula and product changes since I used them, but one thing that never changed is their commitment to creating clean, eco-conscious and effective products. This Clear Skin Pore Refiner contains acne fighting ingredients like white willow bark, tea tree oil, niacinamide, and patchouli as well as lilac and grape stem cells and retinaldehyde for anti-aging benefits. It also contains microbiome friendly yogurt (prebiotic) to help keep pores (and skin) clear! Because this does also have shine-control properties (thanks in part to the inclusion of montmorillonite clay), it makes a perfect primer for under foundation.
Ursa Major Hoppin’ Fresh Deodorant – (travel size, value $12.50) – This is another brand I was excited to see as I’ve loved other products of theirs that I have tried. And of course, I am always looking for an HG natural deodorant (especially now that I am performing/teaching!) so I was pretty stoked to see one in this month’s box! I haven’t yet had a chance to try this in any stressful or very active situations, but so far, in my everyday activities, this has been holding up really well. And even though it does contain baking soda, it does not irritate even the littlest bit! I also really like the formulation of this as the texture and application
Uniful Mascara – (full size, value $22) – I really love this mascara! It’s loaded with organic plant extracts and oils that nourish your lashes, it’s non-irritating, it’s
Jivi Magnesium Body Butter – La Paloma – (full size, value $18) – Yet another brand that I was excited to see! I’ve been a fan of Jivi Skincare since I received their Cucumber Sage Spf moisturizer in last December’s box (see here)! This body butter has become my new nighttime BFF – it’s infused with magnesium, which helps to relax muscles and promote sleep. Since I still deal with a lot of muscle tension in my neck and back, this has been a Godsend for me! It really does help to relieve that annoying muscle ache and helps me to sleep better. The texture is very rich, thick, yet creamy (thanks to the cocoa mango
Bee Magical Bracelet – (full size, value $15) – Not only is this bracelet adorable, but it’s a constant reminder of the magical (and important) pollinators all around us! And when you purchase this bracelet, you are helping to save our bees as 10% of each sale is donated to the New York Bee Sanctuary! And if that’s not enough awesomeness, the packet that comes with your bracelet contains lots of bee friendly flowers you can plant! Just be sure that what you are planting will not be problematic for your area (ie: “The California poppy is great in California, but is classified as a problematic plant that is injurious to agriculture in the Southeast. The
As usual, there wasn’t anything in this box that I didn’t love and I can’t wait for the January box as I know it will be another hit! 😀
