Music Resources

Music is such an important part of my life. Growing up, I used to fantasize about being a singer. In college and beyond, that dream came true – I’ve done recitals, sang in weddings, performed solos in churches, choirs, directed a choir, sang on a few recordings, taught private lessons at a local music school as well as my home, and even sang the soprano solos in Mozart’s “Regina Coeli” in Austria and the Czech Republic with the Buffalo Choral Arts Society. In 2004, I had the opportunity to sing the role of Cinderella in my alma mater’s production of “Into the Woods”.

After a (way too) long hiatus due to health issues, I finally delved back into my first passion last July and I have not been happier! I am now not only studying voice again, but I am also performing and teaching! In April of this year, I became a faculty member at the studio I study at, teaching voice and beginning piano! I am beyond happy and can’t wait to see what the future holds for me!

Here, I’d like to share some of my favorite music resources. Out of all the genres, I find classical to be the most healing, the most therapeutic and just so incredibly beautiful. I am grateful every day that I was blessed with a voice that can sing this type of music and I am so happy to be back into studying/performing so that I can share that part of me with you too! 🙂

A list of repertoire I have performed, studied or am currently studying can be found here and audio/video rep can be heard here.

I hope you enjoy what I have selected. 🙂
