It’s time for another collaboration with one of my fave online fashion sites – Femme Luxe!

This time around I really wanted to focus on selecting pieces that would be nice for holiday parties, as well as recitals or special events, though I did throw in one casual piece for good measure! 🙂

Here’s what I chose:

Gold Glitter Sparkly Shift Mini-Dress in Lexia

This super cute mini dress would be perfect for a New Year’s night out! I love the square neckline and the gold shimmer is just so festive. Since it’s so cold here in WNY right now, I would accessorize with a cute bolero jacket or dressy cardigan and some simple jewelry – the dress is the star, everything else are supporting characters! They have many more gorgeous Glitter Dresses on their site too!

Black Square Neck Strappy Midi Dress – Carly

A simple LBD that will be perfect for a recital, holiday party, special event or date night. For a holiday party or night out, I would dress this up with a bolero jacket (like this gold glittery one) and some bold jewelry. For a recital, I’d go more formal with a wrap and delicate jewelry. The material is soft and stretchy so even though it clings to every curve, you can still move comfortably. They have more styles and colors of Midi Dresses on their site if this one isn’t your vibe.

Black Satin Babydoll Smock Swing Mini Dress – Alise

I already have this in mustard, which I adore, but I wanted to add the black too for more options for recitals. Bold statement jewelry, heels or cute flats, and a slicked-back pony with a smoky eye and nude lip would be my suggestions. They have so many cute Satin Dresses that I may need to snag some more!

Beige Utility Tie Waist Shirt Mini Jacket Dress – Tilly

My one casual pick this time around, I wanted something that I could wear out but that was also comfy for teaching or rehearsals. I really love the Shirt Dress style because it’s so versatile as you can dress it up or down depending on your mood, but also because they are comfortable. And I am allll about comfort! I chose beige, because honestly, my wardrobe has so much black or pastels that I need to add some neutrals in the mix lol. I would pair this with my skinny jeans or black leggings, boots and an oversized bag.

Have you guys checked out Femme Luxe yet?

Until next time,
